Dr. Leslyn B. is a certified coach with credentials from Sam Chand Leadership Coaching and the University of Georgia Executive Coaching program. As a systems strategist with over 15 years of experience, she has empowered women leaders, cultivated leadership skills, and fostered both personal and professional growth. Driven by a passion for helping individuals and organizations thrive, Dr. Leslyn B. has devoted her career to coaching leaders, guiding them to unlock their potential and achieve their goals.
In collaboration with several pastors, Pastor Benny Momoh, Pastor John Nash, and her brother, Pastor Edwin Beckles, Dr. Leslyn B. has designed and implemented transformative programs that equip both emerging and seasoned leaders with the tools needed to excel in ministry, marriage, and the marketplace. Her expertise extends to facilitating impactful seminars on leadership and marriage, offering practical strategies for strengthening relationships and building enduring legacies.

Academic
Dr. Leslyn B. is a distinguished graduate of the University of Georgia's College of Education, where she specializes in Learning, Leading, and Organization Development. Her dissertation, "Redefining Gender and Politics in the Caribbean: An Epistemological Feminist Perspective Investigating the Impact of Experiential Learning on the Political Leadership of Caribbean Women," explores the intersection of gender and politics, focusing on the informal learning experiences that empower women's political leaders to achieve success.
Dr. Beckles' research addresses a significant gap in the literature utilizing a Caribbean feminist theoretical framework that aims to benefit Caribbean women and aspiring women leaders worldwide. Her work is crucial in potentially increasing the representation of women in political leadership within the Caribbean, where their participation currently stands at just 14.3%.
Dr. B. earned her Doctorate from the University of Georgia in Spring 2024. She also holds a Master of Public Policy from the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University, where she concentrated on social policy. Her academic journey began with a Bachelor of Leadership Studies from Beulah Heights University. Her scholarly interests lie in leadership development and gender equality. Dr. B. coauthored a book on emerging leaders, blending theoretical and Biblical perspectives to guide young leaders in understanding leadership dynamics.
Philantropist
Beyond academia, Dr. Beckles is deeply committed to community and civic service on a global scale. She founded Kingdom Sisters International, a nonprofit organization focused on women and girls' economic and academic empowerment. Through this organization, she has made a significant impact in her home country of the Bahamas, as well as in Accra, Ghana; Providenciales, Turks & Caicos; and various cities across the United States. Her ongoing work with Kingdom Sisters International exemplifies Dr. Beckles's dedication to supporting women and girls.
A Family Woman
Dr. Leslyn B. is deeply committed to her calling to nurture and develop healthy families, dedicating much of her time to investing in her own family. As the only daughter among five older brothers, she treasures the unique bond she shares with them, viewing her siblings as one of the greatest blessings from her parents.
In addition to her role as a sister, Dr. Leslyn takes great pride in her commitment to being an aunt. She cherishes the opportunity to pour her time, knowledge, and love into creating meaningful and lasting memories with her nieces and nephews—an experience she values deeply and wouldn’t trade for anything. Her dedication to family reflects her passion for fostering strong, loving relationships as the foundation of healthy communities.
